Global Languages Day
We celebrated Global Languages Day on 6th October 2017.
The children shared their knowledge about the countries we study in school and the languages that are spoken in these countries.
Year 2 shared facts about the different countries we study and showed everyone how much “We Love Languages” at Greasby Infant School.
Mrs Clark showed everyone the Eiffel Tower that F2 had made using their handprints as well as the Spanish Flamenco dancer that Year 1 made.
Mrs Clark taught the whole school how to dance like a Spanish Flamenco dancer. We all tried hard to follow her but it was quite tricky!
We found out about the special work Unicef do to help children across the World. We raised £47.65 for Unicef by wearing clothes in the colour of European flags for our special day.
We all had a lovely assembly and learnt lots of new facts about the countries of France, Spain and China.
